The role
Are you a proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for environmental protection? We’re looking for someone to lead the charge in reducing river-borne pollutants entering our precious marine ecosystems.

In this pivotal role, you will design and implement new processes and guidance that drive real change. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will embed innovative and effective ways of working that safeguard water quality and marine biodiversity.

As an intelligent client, you will oversee the work of external marine modelling consultants to develop a robust understanding of how river nutrient pollution behaves within the Marine Special Area of Conservation (SAC). Your insights will directly inform policy, planning, and environmental protection efforts.

This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact - advancing marine conservation, improving water quality, and shaping best practice across a forward-thinking organisation.

Ready to lead the way in marine protection? Apply now and be part of the solution.

As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the nearest NRW office to your home and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.
