The role

Are you ready to support Wales in delivering a robust and forward-thinking Marine Licensing service? In this pivotal role, you’ll help shape sustainable development in Welsh marine areas balancing environmental protection with regulatory excellence. We’re looking for an experienced regulatory professional to join our team at the forefront of marine licensing. You’ll work across a diverse range of sectors, including offshore renewables and coastal development, playing a key role in the future of marine regulation in Wales.

Your responsibilities will include influencing policy, developing and refining processes, producing guidance, and delivering training. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders from Natural Resources Wales (NRW) colleagues and service users to the Welsh Government and other regulatory bodies.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact in a high-profile area, contributing to Wales’ environmental and economic future.

As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the nearest NRW office to your home and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.
